About Us

Molly Murphy

Founder | Lead Organizer     


After more than a decade working in corporate and education program organization, I am taking my love of organization into your home to help you find a stress free, maintainable and affordable solution that works for your unique needs.  With a variety of service offerings, I am here to help create a maintainable home organization solution or help you through the moving process.


About Me

Born in California, I attended college in the Northern Virginia area before moving to Charlotte. When I'm not organizing, I'm spending time with my three dogs or traveling with my husband.

Free Consultation

In our free consultation, which may be completed in person or over the phone, we'll discuss your needs including what's currently working and what's not working for you!  


Based on your projects unique needs, we'll discuss timeframe, budget and any product recommendations if applicable.  


Measurements and photos may be taken or requested at this time.  A formal estimate will be provided within two business days of the consultation.

Categorize & Edit

It is important to remember that just as your organization needs are unique, this process is tailored to you.


Categorize:  If you've ever heard the phrase, "it's going to get worse before it get's better", this is that moment.  We'll look at everything we have and place them into categories which are logical for you.  


Edit:  Let's take a minute to understand what you need, what you want, and what you are or aren't ready to part with.  I'm not here to tell you what you don't need or judge you for what you do, I'm here to help you think through what matters to you and make decisions you feel comfortable with.  In most projects, we'll work together to make these decisions and then discuss options that work for you to help organize it all.  Organize CLT will never dispose of or remove anything from your home without your permission.

If needed, products which fit your aesthetic and budget will be selected and purchased.

Organize and Love it!

We'll create a fully organized solution designed just for you.  We'll walk you through the system, ask questions to make sure this makes sense for you, make minor adjustments if needed and talk through a general maintenance plan for you.

Pricing

There are many factors that go into the final price.  Your space, product needs and items to be organized are all important factors to consider.  


  • Organizer fee is $75 per hour with a 3-hour minimum.
  • Maintenance fee is $65 per hour with a 1.5-2-hour minimum.


In order to provide a detailed and accurate estimate, estimates are provided within two business days of the initial consultation.


Estimates are provided in three categories.

  • Labor Time:  This is the time your organizer will be working on your project.  An initial labor estimate will be provided during the free consultation.
  • Products:  If organizing products are recommended, product  will be selected, and approved if desired, based on your budget and preferred aesthetic.
  • Additional Fees:  Additional fees may be required for additional services included but not limited to donation drop off, trash removal, shopping time, labels and product procurement.


Service Deposit of 50% of project service time estimate to be collected upon scheduling.


Product Deposit of 50% of product estimate required prior to purchasing.


No, hourly fees are for service only.


Products to help organize your space will be recommended based on your unique needs and budget.  However, product purchasing is not required to get organized! Many clients opt to incorporate new products to optimize their solution so Organize CLT will work with any products you already have as well as your unique budget to determine what is best for you!


We accept cash, check, zelle and all major credit cards.


There is 3.3% convenience fee for credit card transactions.


Projects canceled with less then 48 hours notice will be charged a $75 cancellation fee.


Projects rescheduled once will not be charged a rescheduling fee.  Projects rescheduled more than once will be charged $75 per reschedule.


Time Commitment

On average, the initial FREE consultation will take 30 minutes.


Each project is unique.  Many projects can be completed in 3-8 hours while others may take a few days.  An estimated time will be provided during the initial consultation.


Throughout the editing process, many people want to be involved.  On average, 10-15% of the time will be spent together working through the editing process.  


Organize CLT will never dispose of or remove any items from your home without your approval.

Additional Questions

Organize CLT is proud to serve the greater Charlotte, NC area.  We serve a 40-miles radius around Uptown Charlotte.  


For an additional fee, Organize CLT is happy to travel further to you!


In need of some organization maintenance, Organize CLT is here to help.  Schedule a maintenance session with us within 3-months of your initial service and receive $10 off the hourly organizer fee!  Maintenance sessions only applicable to the same space previously organized.  2-hour minimum required.


Need something more consistent? Set-up regular maintenance with our weekly, bi-weekly or monthly tidying up plans and receive $12 off the hourly organizer fee!  2-hour minimum required.


Most often, Molly will be your main organizer.  Depending on the size or manual labor required, an additional organizer may be brought in to support. 


Organize CLT can provide donation and trash removal for the first six bags/boxes.  There is an additional fee of $10 per bag beyond six.  For large declutter or downsize projects a dumpster may need to be coordinated.


Organization does not include cleaning services.  Basic dusting will be included.  If recommended, a cleaning service can be coordinated.  


Face masks can be worn upon request.


Organize CLT will not organize guns or ammo.


Yes.  Organize CLT will never share your information or any photos of your items without written consent.
